Biographical history
Dr. Harry Ellsworth Welch was born on September 10, 1861, in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.
He was an American physician, one of the founders of the Youngstown Health Bureau where he put into effect the disease-preventative measures.
In 1899, he married Mary L. Mills (1862-1936). He died on August 12, 1940, in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.
