Letter to Adolf Meyer, June 15, 1912

Letter to Adolf Meyer from William Osler, From the Regius Professor of Medicine, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. (Referring the opening address that he will have to make for the Phipps Psychiatric Clinic). He could arrange for the date mentioned, the second half of April. Will talk to Phipps while the latter will be in London at the end of the month. He is shocked at the thought of giving the general opening address, he supposes it would please Phipps, for whom he has a warm affection. The work "general" would let him out of any psychiatric association. Will try to get precise information from Phipps and will let him know.

Letter to Adolf Meyer, May 1, 1912

Letter to Adolf Meyer from William Osler, From the Regius Professor of Medicine, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Glad that he thinks that the opening should not take place until the Clinic is in order. Late next Spring would be far enough advanced. Supposes that it would be possible to arrange the course so that the man could take Meyer's clinics which will be attractive to many practitioners in the town. The outlook is fascinating, and would like to have a chat about his plans next Fall. Civilities. P.S. Mention of his trip in Italy.

Letter to Adolf Meyer, November 22, 1910

Letter to Adolf Meyer from William Osler, From the Regius Professor of Medicine, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. He had written to Savage about Campbell. The London condition is very peculiar, they cannot appoint a progressive man. Sure Meyer will be happy in Baltimore, but it must be a weary wait for his clinic. Civilities.
