He and his wife have heavy cold, epidemic of influenza. Mentions that he is setting down to a the life of pre-senile Don. Councils and committees are often boring but it is interesting from an educational standpoint. No revolution in view to modernize Oxford and Cambridge. Mention of Gui Pattin's letters.
