Letter to William Osler from Sir John Burdon Sanderson, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Burdon-Sanderson understands that Osler has accepted to be Dr. Strong's guest during his stay at Oxford. However, in order that they may discuss Osler's appointment as Regius Professor of Medicine, Burdon-Sanderson requests that Osler agree to stay with him for the first part of his trip. Although Sanderson agrees with Osler that Ritchie merited the appointment to the Regius Professorship, the university authorities made that an impossibility.
